Pears are my new fad

I made this delicious Pear bread for my breakfast last week. mmm was it good!
It was thanks to Tender Crumb that I discovered this delish recipe. But I didn't add the powdered sugar on top, but boy was it still good. I also didn't use apple cider.
It had this great spice too it. I just loved it!
Next time I probably will make it in muffin form. I bought some more muffin tins the other day :D As for today...

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!

Breakfast is probably not only important, but my favorite meal of the day. I ate so much today XD But since I had a day off, why not!
Mi Madre bought a delish fruit salad bowl :D I obviously dug in!
Today was freezing, so I baked an apple oatmeal. (with cinnoman, nutmeg, soy milk, etc.)
I actually lost the recipe though! sorry :( I just kind of threw things in, but it was SO delish.

first post of thats so delish :D

anywho, on to the food! Above is my own variation of a grilled cheese. Plus I found a great recipe for soy potatoes! I just cut up a white potato instead of the baby potatoes like it said. They were definetly delish.For my grilled cheese, I did not have whole grain bread which I was severely depressed, so I just used a bun and cut it into two thin slices. Then I put muenster cheese (my addiction) lettuce, tomato,diced red peppers, and some basil sprinkled over the cheese. I put a very small amount of margrine on the outsides of the bread and sprinkled a little basil on the buttered part. It was BEYONd good, but I know it would be better with whole wheat. Thats my food feature for the day. More tommorow!
